Does plum/eggplant go with hunter green?

or does it look like barney?

I originally wante my girls in red and my mom in green..but I feel like EVERYONE I know has red, so i was thinking an eggplant/plum color...will green look horrendous with it? if so, what other color cna I use for mom? And what about wine with hunter green?

I dont think it would look terrible, but I would go with a wine color and hunter green or a cranberry color and hunter green

Having briefly taught art for 2 years, purple and green and complementary colors on the color wheel and have a tendency to look pretty nice together - assuming of course you hit it just right. You may want to go for more of a grape color than an eggplant. OR you may wish to lighten things upby using lavender with a hunter or a light sage with a grape color. Some light, some dark - this way there is a lil contrast and things aren't so stark. I considered this combo for a while but ended up with navy blue dresses and flowers in the blue purple and pink family which is fine because the ballroom at my temple is in the blue family.

I like the idea, both are jewel tones...You should try and put dresses of those colors next to each other when you go BM dress shopping and see if you like it.

I dont really like it so much
why dont you go with Plum for your girls and gold or burgendy for you mom - even navy blue ...
