Anyone have a good endocrinologist?

Anyone have a good endocrinologist?

My mom needs one.

Although, I have a thyroid problem, it's managed under my regular DR. My mom was found to have the same thing I do, underactive thyroid, except they found a nodule on hers---she needs to see an endocrinologist and they may have to biopsy it-although they said that 99.9% of the time it's nothing.....God forbid it is, they cannot start her on the medicine-because that would feed it--does anybody even know what these nodules are???? I'm worried Anyway, every dr she calls is booked until dec....literally.....so does anyone have a great one in cental nassau/suffolk county that they really trust and like? THANK YOU!!!!!

I see Dr. Karen Schwartz in Woodbury and I love her 516-364-7405 (I am actually on hold with her office while I was reading this

). I had nodules on my thyroid that ended up being cancer, but she always kept me informed of everything they did during the process. If you need more info, FM me.

i second that with a 1 exception

1 time, we sent over our results of another blood test. she could of told us on the phone there is no problem, no need to come. instead, we make an appoitment. she takes vitals and says no problems.. we were there less then 3 mins... oh, and don't forget your co-pay for a specialist...

other then that...she is good. both me and DW went to her at one point
