How old is he? if hes very young you two could hold him at the alter and make a vow to him that you two will make t his marriage work and both raise him together. If he is a little older why not make him a ring bear, even if he is like 2, you could have grandma walk with him down the aisle holding his hand. It would look too cute!If he is more like 10 and up make him a jr. gm. or even the best man.

Have him as the ring bearer and at the end of the ceremony the two of you make a vow to him holding together to raises him together and love him with all your hearts. That would just be so lovely too see.

Me and Fi have a daughter who will be 4 at the time of the wedding and the deacon is adding her into the service. Instead of ring exchange like mom & Dad we will have a little family vow and give her a braclet . You can do something on the lines of this.

this may sound cheesy, but did you see Jerry McGuire? her son was the ring bearer and stayed up there with them the whole time. I thought that was so cute!

my husband's children were all included in the bridal party. the girls were my bridesmaids and his son was his best man. i would have your son be the ring bearer because he is more that age. i think its great that youre trying to include him!! i think they need to feel a special part of it.

Re: How do you include children in a wedding?
My fiance's son is going to be 7 when we get married and he will be the best man although there will be someone else to sign the license of course. We are also going to have him included in the final blessing so the priest will say something about the three of us being a family now.Welcome New Vendors
