My Mom is having a hard time finding a dress
Can anyone recommend a salon or shop to go to?
She likes sleeves I think, and doesn't want anything too low cut.

I really think it almiost doesn't matter where you go. You have to start trying on many dresses. I would stayy away from most Bridal Salons. Try smaller specially shops, Metamorphis/St. James, There is a store in Bayshore, Sunrise Hwy when I think of it I'll write back.I actually got mine in Macys/Florida over a year ago for 12/10/05 Garnet red, separete top & shirt with matching jacket for ceremony.Good Luck

my mom found an amazing gown at metamorphis..in st james...i know she is going to wind up buying it but she wants to loose more weight, but the people there are so sweet too!

My mom definitely wants sleeves and she is one that personally feels leary about ordering a dress w/o trying it on in HER size and in the color she'd be ordering.
We're going to check out Lord & Taylor first.

My mom at the hardest time...we just got her dress on thursday! We went to Sugarplum. My mom got her bag, and jewlery there too (All Swarovski)
My co-teacher at work told me of Blanche's in E. Rockaway. Can be slkightly inexpensive to very expensive (but they all can)

try the bridal shop in huntington on rt. 110---my mom liked them a lot-very helpful too
