Three Village Inn Cottages

Has anyone ever stayed in the cottages at the 3VI or seen them? I'm thinking of doing my wedding at the Inn, and I would like my OOT guests to stay right there, but I have read some pretty bad reviews about the rooms at the Inn and the cottages. I can't think of anywhere else in the area they could stay. I thought about Danfords, but I also read some horrible reviews about their rooms also.

Re: Three Village Inn Cottages

We stayed at the inn and the Bride and groom stayed at the cottages. I thought it was really nice and the BP had a place to hang out between pictures and the reception! very cozy!I think they are fine. They also provide a free breakfast the next day I think!

My mom stayed at one when she came up to visit. She still raves about the place.

Re: Three Village Inn Cottages

We got married at TVI and stayed in the inn on our wedding night. We had numerous guests stay over in the inn as well as the cottages and all loved them.

We are actually going to try to spend every anniversary at the inn going forward : ).

Good luck.

Re: Three Village Inn Cottages

I looked at the 3VI and liked it alot. The only part I didnt like was that teh guests had to walk through the restaurant to get to the reception.
Is your CH outside or inside? Are you having day or night?
What is the Price per person?

Re: Three Village Inn Cottages

the rooms are on the smaller side... cozy is a good word for them... i have had family stay at both danfords and the inn... most of them preferred danfords... but the inn gets the job done and is more convienant if that is where your wedding will be... you can also block rooms at both places and giv eyour guests the choice... you cant expect a 5 star hotel, because that is just not the type of place danfords or the inn is... both places are more about the atmosphere and the 'quaintness'

Re: Three Village Inn Cottages

We're thinking a Sunday Brunch or Lunch next September. We were looking at the Champagne brunch package which is only 33.95pp or the Stony Brook package which is 39.95 pp. You can't beat the prices. I really would like to do the ceremony outside since the ceremony area is so pretty.

Re: Three Village Inn Cottages

We got married at the Inn last month, and stayed in one of the cottages for the wedding night. It was nice! We liked that it was totally private.... We had some guests stay overnight in the regular guest rooms, and they were also fine. Plus, they include a complimentary breakfast, which was really good.

Basically, the rooms are more bed & breakfast than the hilton. Not luxurious, but cute and quaint instead. we were very happy with the inn.

I'm posting a picture I took from inside the cottage.
