1st Anniversary Gift Ideas

Hi ladies,

Any '04 brides out there have any suggestions on 1st anniversary gift ideas? The traditional gift is supposed to be paper and the modern is a clock. I bought new hubby a Movado watch for our engagement, so the clock idea is out. I was actually thinking of going to a hotel overnight in Manhattan and having a couples massage. It would be even better if the massage could be done in our room. That was offered to us on our honeymoon, but I can't seem to find that in Manhattan.
Any other suggestions?

My husband had a scrapbook made for me professionally. It is absolutely beautiful. We renewed our vows so the pics from there are througout the book.

For him I found this website and had a personal novel written starring us and our best friends. He read it on the plane (and he does not like to read novels) he loved it. He took it to work when we got back from vacation and now everyone in the office wants to order a copy.

Your 1st year is paper so we did just that on exchanging gifts.
