Re: my dog as a ring bearer???

i would be very nervous about my dog running off (see pic of my pom, molly). shes not the type of dog you can toss a frisbee on the beach and have her run, catch it, and bring it back. she'd just keep running! so she wont be in the wedding bc i would worry waaaay too much. our ceromony is indoors, but i would then have to worry about her transportation and safety and i'll have enough to worry about. but if you could pull it off it is a cute idea. i think i will settle for having her picture on a table somewhere, maybe with her dresses up really cute :) ~lacey

Re: my dog as a ring bearer???

We were at a wedding, and a couple had their dog as their ring bearer. A family member walked the dog down the aisle, and the rings were tied to his collar somehow, it was very cute.

Re: my dog as a ring bearer???

Is the dog well behaved? I would love to have my pup in the wedding but she is too crazy. I think if you are afraid of her running off, don't do it.

Re: my dog as a ring bearer???

I think my Pastor would have a stroke! GET THE CRASH CART!!! I know you're not getting married in a church, I'm just getting a mental image of asking my pastor if it would be alright.....

I think it's a cute idea though! Why the heck not??
