NWR- LI ladies, I need your help

I am probably going to be on LI most of the weekend since I have a bbq in Lloyd Neck (lloyd's harbor) on Saturday and can stay in my aunt house in Oyster Bay. so, I thought maybe fh and I could make a weekend out of it.

does anything special go on around Labor Day Weekend...anything fun that you guys know about? I am not really particular about the 'where' aspect- have fun, will travel (especially if it's inexpensive!!! )

it could be anything- vineyards, fruit picking, boat show, museums..we love it all!

or if nothing else, where can I look that lists things like this- is the a TONY for LI?

I live in Oyster Bay I don't believe there is anything that really goes on Labor Day weekend. However the beaches are great and there is the Theodore Roosevelt Sagamore Hill Musuem as well as the Nassau COunty Museum of Art in Roslyn.
