Three good things just happened to me!! In one day!! Edited: One more good thing happened since the post was written.
Finally... a small stroke of good fortune, hopefully leading to bigger and better things....1. I got pulled over for not stopping completely at a stop sign. (It gets better-- trust me). (I have never seen anyone in South Philly stop completely for a stop sign... My Dad said they probably came after me b/c of my NY license plates!) Anyway, I was about to cry when the cop comes back to my car and said, 'You didn't argue with me, you know what you did, you had all your information with you... we will let you get off with just a verbal warning.'
2. I got a letter from Fortunoff stating that FH's wedding band finally came in!!!
3. **THE BIG ONE** I got my paycheck from the terrible, terrible job that I worked at for only two weeks. I thought since I quit so early, they were only going to pay me minimum wage. The check ended up being for $704. This is such a tremendous help to me to receive this check 28 days before my wedding.
NOW........All I need is for one of the interviews I went on this week to call me back and offer me a position.
ETA: I was cleaning out my car and found a $50 dollar check that I had thought I lost.
