I HATE THE PEOPLE AT MY OLD JOB!!! UPDATE!!

Ok, major vent here...

I left to get away from the high school crap and it is still continuing! I am now being blamed for something that I have no control over and did not do. I cannot tell you how angry I am. I am ready to spit fire and tell my boss to take her part time job and shove it where the sun don't shine! I HATE these people and the stupid petty crap they pull.

BASTARDS! The best advice I can give you is try not to make it get the best of you. As easy as it may be to say, it's the best thing to do when there is a situations that you have little control of.

I left my old job of 6 years last summer in advertising..and found out my old boss pushed the blame on me for something she did that went wrong! I found out from a friend and i was livid! I did not want my reputation to be ruined, but there was nothing I could do...so I just excepted it and never spoke to her again.

Hopefully your FH will move on to another job and this old place and negative energy will be out of your lives for good!!!

Aww Hollie, I'm so sorry!!!!! I know it's hard, but don't let these people get to you!! Don't worry, just look at the wonderful evening you have planned between shopping and the GTG, that should make you forget all about those losers!!!

I literally don't know what to do with myself... I cannot believe this crap is still going on. FI had an interview today that went very well. I Hope he gets it so we can tell these people to go to hell!

I see it happen all the time. It's all you can do to resist the urge to go there and scream at them how it's not your fault. The problem is, that's exactly what your former boss will expect you to do. Do not let them get the best of you. You are out of there, and that is the most important thing.

As for your FH, I pray that he gets the new job so that you both can be really happy!! You guys deserve nothing less!!

Update(it's long!):

I called and spoke to the person who claims I said something and my boss (from my p/t job) who should have addressed this with me (and not FI).

I was accussed of saying something that I did not that was confidential. I called up the person who told my boss that I 'said' stuff. She denied ever saying this and stated she told my boss that I didn't say anything. In my conversation with this person, I told her that I was going to tell the boss that we spoke and this is what we said. She was fine with it. I then worked out on my lunch to calm down, as I would have bitten off the head of my boss. I called her a little while ago and told her that I wanted to talk about the situation. She was standoffish but I continued. I calmly, but you could hear anger in my voice, told her that I do not appreciate FI discussing an issue with me that she should have. I also told her that I spoke to the person who claims I said something and she agreed that I never said anything confiential. My boss sounded surprised but told me that this person said that I leaking info. I then told my boss that I would like the 3 of us to sit down together and discuss this, as I would never do this. My boss felt it wasn't a good idea (probably because she concocted this whole scheme! Sick B!TCH!). I continued to state that I never said anything and that the person who she is accusing of telling her this told me she never used my name. I admitted that if I had said something, I would own up to it and take whatever consequences come with it. My boss then said that she didn't make this up (liar!). My boss said she would take it up with this person and that she would take care of it. I don't care if she believes me, but I made it known that I have nothing to hide.

I just don't appreciate being blamed for something I didn't do. Thanks for listening to me. Please keep your fingers crossed that FI is offered this position. he said he did well on the interview, so please put out good vibes. Thanks!

Hollie, I'm so sorry that you're still dealing with BS from those awful people. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for John that he will get that new job, and then you can both tell your old place (and your awful boss) where to shove it!!
