Are you having a Sign in Book?

I'm seeing a couple of cute ones on ebay - but am wondering whether or not it is really needed.

What are you ladies doing?
Where are you keeping the book too...?

We are probably going to do a sign in board, like at my shower. I can't see buying a book that only a few people will sign.

We are probably going to do a sign in board, like at my shower. I can't see buying a book that only a few people will sign.

We did this also, SO many more people signed it. I like the idea better then the book, At least you can hang this for all to see

I dont recommend doing the book, not everyone signs it and it will just be put away somewhere.

I do recommend the sign in photo! I LOVE MINE! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!

When I noticed not everyone had signed it I had the DJ make an announcement and that worked.

We had one.... I am VERY happy that we did. We had a little cousin run around getting people to sign ours and so many people did (I was shocked) They wrote such nice things and I am glad that I did it but I know I am in the minority with it.

We are going to have a book printed by MyPublisher with pix of us in it... And leave the backs of the pages blank so people can sign that while they look through it

I totally LOVE this idea of the Polaroid guest book!!! I wish I knew about before I bought mine...but I love mine so much and got it at a great price I really don't mind.

Yes, just the old-fashioned sign-in book. I've been to weddings where it's sent around the tables and that always seems to work.

We are not doing one. I never sign them at other people's weddings so I figure why should they sign them at mine. I think it's just another thing to collect dust after all is said and done

We did the signature platter. It only held about 1/3 of our guests' signatures, but we still really like it--it's on our mantle.

we're doing both...

i'm having people sign their name and address in the guest book (it was a gift from a relative) and then sign their message on the matte board. i've delegated the manning of the guest book table to a relative, so she'll try to get everyone to sign as much as possible.

I really don’t want one. But FH told his 11yr old niece that she is in charge of the guestbook (he was trying to make her feel better because she wanted to be in the BP). I really thought I would get one at my shower, but I didn’t. I really don’t want one! just something else that will be collecting dust
