Best cell phone plan? Verizon?

I need 2 lines on the same plan. Should I go to Verizon?










I just had it OUT with Sprint. My bill is over $300 a month which is fine, but they have some policy that says after it gets over a certain amount they shut it off! I pay in full every month and its HORRIBLE when they shut it off. Last time it was the day my best friend was having her baby and I was waiting for the call. Its $300 to cancel my contract which I might as well do.

Verizon is very good! We really haven't had an y problems with them. One word of advice though is do NOT buy your plan through radio shack or another outside vendor. It will affect your warranty. I had SUCH a bad experience with Radio Shack. Go directly to a verizon store. There's usually a wait, but it's worth it. The customer service is MUCH better and so is the warranty service should you have a problem with your phone.

Thanks. Will I still be able to use my Sanyo phone? (Might be a dumb question, but I dont know )

I vote for Verizon too! I have had them for years and NEVER had a problem. You might be able to get a free phone with your plan.

I always go to the Verzon store by Smithaven Mall. You do have to wait but they are really nice and helpful there.

I just bought a new phone not more than one month ago I spent over $300 ....

I'm going to check them out though. Sprint is just driving me crazy.

I've had Verizon since 1997- and I have never had a problem

Go to the Verizon store- they might give you a free phone

Never had a problem with Verizon either. FH and I went on a sharing plan, we got three lines with three phones for the same amount monthly as one of us paid individually. It's great.

Go to Zoom Wireless in Deer Park. They always offer amazing deals on phones. I upgraded my plan and got a brand new LG for $40.

They are great!

The only problem is that I think if you don't buy it at the verizon store your warranty is different. I got my phone at radio shack and when I had a problem they made me send it in several times for warranty service wheras when I went to the verizon store theyw ere about tog ive me a new one, then when they looked at the serial # on the phone they said 'nope..you have ot bring this back to radio shack bc that's where you got your plan'. Radio Shack sent it out 3 times and by then I was promised replacement. The manager took my phone, turned around, cracked the screen in said 'we can;t replace this. physical damage is not covered by warranty', so I did an early upgrade and switched my plan at the verizon store and since then, no problems! I'm not saying Zoom is bad, I have no idea, but you may run into the same warranty issues,

I also use verizon...and LOVE them! I have had the same phone for two years... it';s great!!

Def try to go to a verizon store! Good luck!

I love verizon. We have a family share plan, with 800 anytime minutes. DH has internet on his phone, and our bill comes to just over $100/month.

the catch with most cell phone companies is that you can't use one phone with another company. if you just bought that phone and are changing companies i would suggest you sell your sprint phone on ebay.

sell your sanyo on ebay - you'll probably have no problem selling it.

Verizon is offering free phones right now, so you shouldn't have to pay at all.

I had the same problem with Sprint!!!! They would shut off my phone, no warning, b/c I went over 'whatever' amount!!! My bill was paid every month, in full, and early!!!!!! I was PO'ed!!!!!

I switched to Verizon 2 years ago, and haven't had a problem since!! I love them!!!!

Then again.. I can't IMAGINE any bill over $50
I have 300 minutes, nights and weekends free and I never seem to use them. I don't undertand really how anyone can. i dont talk and drive because well frankly I think its stupid and folks know where to reach me at work and home..

Anyway. I also say go Verizon

Jim (Hubby) uses T-mobile and LOVES it. But if youre in the NYC area Verizon really is the way to go.

I use sprint and have since 1998 because of it's range. I get service where Jim doesnt and I DEFINATELY get service more often than verizon when Im not in NY. I travel and my parents live in NOWHERELAND Iowa so good service is really important to me, but my phone is next to impossible in the city.

I have TMobile- the family plan is only 49.99 a month so thats only 25 each for my fiance and I. Verizon is way too expensive and not worth it...
