day of hair and makeup

which comes first, or what should I have done first? does it depend on the hairstyle, or is it usually one or the other?

I am trying to figure out if we can all go to a hair salon and THEN have the m/u artist come to the house....

I'm debating on this also. I'm having the hair done first, because somehow I think that's going to take a lot more time than the makeup!!

DEFINITELY hair first...Makeup last.

You don't want to be sitting under a blow dryer, or little hairs messing up the mu.

ok, well what if you have that side part piece of hair that cuts across your forehead....then the makeup is not applied all over your face??

I am a make up idiot as you can see, so I can't seem to figure these things out!!
