I found out my aunt was complaining the whole wedding

Really loud during the ceremony and during the reception. Numerous people have told me, even ones who dont really know her.

They said, she kept saying "boy it must be nice that she can afford this, If I had this money Id pay my mortgage, I wonder how she got all this money, where did this money come from, how can she afford this." I'm told it was said in a not nice way.

I want to call her up and be like - you are a nurse! I am a single mom/teacher! I paid my WHOLE wedding in cash. I SAVED it and worked HARD for it. Its not my fault you blow yours away!

Just needed to vent.

I find that many people say things like this - they always say things like "why spend this much money on a wedding when you can buy a house?"

or "I would never spend this much on a wedding"

and I didnt even spend that much. I think after gifts I ended up about $5,000 in the negative, but it was so worth it. <~~ bargain shopper.

no kidding! Sometimes I wish I could talk back to these people. I didnt want to invite her anyway!

She's not worth your energy....she seems judgmental and jealous. If you're gonna have a wedding, you have to do it right and the way you like it. It seems you've accomplished both

no matter what you do in life, someone will always try to bring you down...my wedding is in 3 days, and believe me, people have a weird way of showing their support sometimes

Some people are just so rude and have no manners. You had the wedding of your dreams without going into debt. Don't give her another thought!

The nerve!!!!! That's right you worked your butt off to have the day you did. I would tell her off. Thankfully you heard of this afterward because it would have ruined your day for sure.

I love that pic! I have one from Gabe like that. He was showing us a boo boo on his finger or something. Its cute.

OMG don't we all have at least one of those Aunts who are just embarrasing and never have nothing nice to say.

I have one like that and she is already saying little stuff and the wedding isn't even here yet.

I won't let her or anybody ruin my day
