Platinum Productions

Has anyone used Platinum Productions as a DJ? I'm looking for a low-key, not in your face DJ.

They were recommended by the Carltun, but would rather get honest feedback

Re: Platinum Productions

I went to see them because I had won a light package from a bridal show if I booked with them. They were on the pricey side(atleast I thought so) for a DJ. The seemed very good though and I would have liked to go with them if I could have afforded it. They do alot of parties for famous people. They are located in Farmingdale right?? Just want to make sure I am thinking of the same company......

Re: Platinum Productions

Hi Jen,

Yes, they are located in Farmingdale. They are the DJ's recommended by the carltun, but I hadn't heard of them. Did they show you any videos of their work at weddings?

Thanks for the feedback!

Re: Platinum Productions

Hi.. yes they showed me their work. The DJ was very good and the video guy that they racommended (don't remember the name) was awesome. The girl there Sandra told us that they use some special camera that makes the people look flawless. It was of a sweet sixteen and every teenager looked good. I found that hard t believe since when you are a teenager someone will have acne or something. Every girl and guy looked great. Sandra was very nice but I just didn't want to pay that much. I think the basic package was like 2495. I ended up going with Spin Around Sounds who I have read good reviews about and have heard from some other vendors that they are good if you don't want an 'in youre face mc' which is what I was trying to stay away from. Hope all this helps.
