DRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (w/ pics!!!) UPDATED: with pics of me - 2nd page!!!

I can't believe it but I finally got my dress. I went to 5 other dress places (Commack Wedding Center, Carmelas - loved it- and Adriennes in Islip - another great place - and Bayshore birdal and Huntington Bridal Suite)

I got the dress from Kleinfeld's in Manhattan - the store was beautiful. I tried on a bunch of dresses like I had been picking out....beading on the bodice and beading on the botoom - I was so particular about the beading - no vines - no applique - no lace - no organza and the dress I decided on was so plain but it was just the one!! I was practically in tears and then I knew it!!! FH is a little upset because he would have liked me to price the dress but I really do think I got a good deal (and if anyone knows the price they or someone else paid for it I would really appreciate it to help plee my case) so without further ado - MY WEDDING DRESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS. Its a Justina Mccaffery - style Alexia tag says $3,300 but we got Kleinfelds down to $3000 and they threw in a huge Cathedral Veil and a blusher.

PPS - one more question is $395 (flat fee) for alterations a lot??

Last thing I promise - I look wider in the pic because the back isn't closed -of course the dress was too small :) I have huge boobs!!

The dress is stunning! Great selection! You'll be set apart from many brides out there with that dress!

As far as the alterations - JMHO: too high!

beautiful dress. I negotiated my alterations down to 255 at the wedding salon of manhasset - but when I went there for my first fitting she was like they are 395 but I pointed to my sales slip and she saw the quote and honored the lower price. So I think 395 is the going rate for this summer.
