When there is a time gap between the ceremony and the reception...

...has anyone ever handed out a list and directions of things to do in betweeen? My mom is inviting people to her house for refreshments and I'd like to hand out directions cards at the church. What should I write??

How about 'Please join us for light refreshments at the home of .... before the reception.' Then provide directions. This can be handed out with the ceremony programs or immediately after the ceremony.
