Ipod speakers--help please! I want to order them tonight for FH's birthday!
I want to get FH ipod speakers for his birthday, but I'm not sure what brand. The two that I am looking at are the "JBL on stage" speakers, and the Altec Lansing InMotion. Anyone know anything about these or own one of these? Thanks!!

My borther ha sthe ALtec ones an dlikes them a lot. I dont know how much you want to spend but the iPod sound dock from Bose is awesome! Its like $300 though, and they have standard pricing so it will not go one sale. But its nice looking and you cant beat the sound.

Thanks! I would spend $300 if I could, but money is tight. So I wanted to get him either the altec or the jbl because they are $120-150, and then also get him a $25 itunes gift card.

I know, it is expensive, especially when the iPod itself cost so much! Like I said my borther is relaly happy with altec, havent heard anything bad about jbl either though. good luck!

I have the INMotion ones. They are good. THey do sound a little like small speakers, though ( the sound doesn't fill up the whole room) , but I have no problems with them. They aren't scratchy or fuzzy or anything.

I have a port that I got as a gift and LOVE THEM. They are in the shape of a cirle 9lays on the table) and the IPOD is placed in the port on top. It charges while plays and nice clear loud sound.
I wish I new who made it, but I would know it if I saw it.
That sounds like the JBL one. I actually decided to order that one last night.
