Groom's tux vest-what color?

WE went to look at vests today for FH's tux and we can't decide on the color. My dress is 'diamond white' so the cream is too dark but I feel like the white vests are too bright.

What color vest is your FH wearing?

I am having the same issues- my dress is champagne. so if FH gets a champagne vest, then what color do the groomsman get

My dress is d.w., grooms vest will be platinum.
It was recommended by tux saleswoman.

My dress was white - DH vest was white.
BM dresses were champagne - GM vests were champagne.
I had my dad wear a black vest

Thank you for posting this!!! I am having the same dilemma!!!

I am wearing Diamond white, but we ended up going with the White vest for FH and Champagne Vests for the groomsmen. I thought the cream looked way too dark. Diamond white photographs white, IMO, and FH didn't like the cream AT ALL!

I don't have a swatch of my dress yet though... I may switch the color when I get one. Good luck!!!!!!!!!

BM and GMs have platinum vests with a small white diamond print - FH is the opposite, white vest with platinum diamonds.

My Husband wore white and I thought he look amazing in the white vest with the black tux.

My dress is diamond white and my girls are wearing champagne.... we went today to pick out tuxes. FH is wearing a black tux, black vest and tie with a white shirt... our groomsmen are wearing champagne vests and ties.
