Sir Oliver Limos
We called to book Sir Oliver limos for only pick-up and drop off service.I have a few questions:
1) We never went to go see them, do you think its ok to book them without going there? They said we wouldn't even be able to see the limos we would use because they are getting new cars next year.
2) The total with tax and gratuity is $210, and they want a $200 deposit, they said their min. deposit is $200. Does this sound normal?
3) How many hours is included for pick-up and drop off?

Yep, this sounds right. We didn't see the limos either until the day of our wedding and our car was beautiful. We had the 8-10 passenger white limo. We also had to give a $200. They're all so nice over there. I worked with Rich and Jennifer. Don't worry, I'm sure they'll do the right thing.

Re: Sir Oliver Limos
we had pick up and drop off serviceboth limos were at my house half an hour before i told them to be
they were their ontime for the evening pick up (i am sure they were their early but i did not check)
they were courterious, clean, professional
and i am very happy we chose them
the limo we saw ehen we went to go book was not the limo we got becasue they get new limos pretty frequently...
one of the limos we had that day...we were the first customers in it!
they took 200 bucks as a deposit for the limos from us as well
even if you cant see the specific one you are booking you may want to go and see their fleet and see how their limos look if it will help ease your mind....(I was the same way)

Re: Sir Oliver Limos
Honestly I would say to go check out the cars, even if they will be different. Just so you know what type of condition they keep them in.BUT....we met Rich at the Giorgio's showcase and we were SO impressed with him, not even just the cars. I've never seen a bad review, so this is one vendor I would say you dont' have to go meet. Maybe when the new cars come in, go check them out, if you want to see them.
We will be booking them. Good Luck

$200 deposit for a $210 total?
I can tell you first hand that's not true.
I originally was going to book them and they wanted $100 deposit for a $350 total. I changed my mind and didn’t book them because the owner pissed me off.

i went yesterday and saw the cars. they were very nice.
i was not, however, impressed with the owner either. he really pissed me off and i walked out of there.
i'm going with royalty--they are $300 cheaper for the same cars.

Re: Sir Oliver Limos
let me tell you what happened. the first thing that pissed me off was that he assumed that I smoke. when I initially called them to ask about rates Rich said to me 'there's no smoking in the limos'. I asked him why on earth would he say that to me and his response was 'well, you sound like you smoke'. I had a horrible cold. It really bugged me that he would just assume that. But I decided to book them anyway b/c of the feedback on here. so when I got my contract in the mail, it said 6 pass. limo. Rich told me that they don't even have 6 pass limos, I asked for an 8. So I left them a message that I will not be using them and threw out the contract.

My brother and his wife used them for their wedding 2 weeks ago and they were great. Not only were they early, they helped get the processional at the church moving. We were all lining up, not knowing if we should go or not, etc. One of the drivers stepped in-almost like a back up DOC! I thought they went above and beyond. We are still not sure if we need limos, but if we do I hope to book with them.

Re: Sir Oliver Limos
hii think it willl be fine
rich and the guys are really great
pick up and drop off service is just that they pick you up and drop you off at the venue no hours are included - if you need the limos for an extended time you'll have to book them for a block of hours.
all places require a deposit that is totally normal

Re: Sir Oliver Limos
Hmmm I am consider them too but not thrilled about the high percentage of the deposit. That's a 95% deposit!
I second that you should go see the limos. Even though they will be different, just to see what kind of shape they are in.

Re: Sir Oliver Limos
We used Sir Oliver Limos for my bachelorete party...they were absolutely wonderful! I can't remember our driver's name but he is a teacher in West Babylon and got married the same weekend we did...and went to Sandals in St Lucia like we did...and my DH and I were in the pool and this guy came over and asked if I was from LI and if I had my BP in the city...it was the limo driver! Personal service...and he viewed us as people! Go for it, you won't be sorry. The only reason we didn't use them for our wedding is that we wanted a Phantom 5 Rolls...and they don't have one!

Re: Sir Oliver Limos
I was Impressed and very very pleased with Sir Oliver....Our Driver was awesome, he helped the processional start too...my girls all had a mini train on their dresses, he straightend them before they went down the aisle..he did the same for me...he was spectacular!
We used the Hummer and were in LOVE with it!
Just so you know, Sir Oliver OWNS all its cars..it does not lease them...so they take extraordinarily great care of them!
This was my FAVORITE vendor!
THey were so nice the whole way through, and even when Ic alled the day before to tell them we neede to put 2 car seats in the car, they were more than accomodating when they got to my house

You are just booking them now? I am confused...I would think they would be totally booked up on a Sunday in July....and just 3 days before your wedding, you were booking them?
