RePost from BHB....Hair Salons in Suffolk County

I am looking for a place that does hair and makeup at the salon...I am on a budget and I want my BP and myself to all get everything done at the same place. I checked the vendors on here and it seems like most of the come to your house/hotel whatever.


Anyone know of any good salons in suffolk county??????

I go to Christopher Jon in Sayville to get my hair done....they aren't too cheap but they go a great job w/haircutting and hi-lighting. I've also been in there when they do wedding up do's and they looked great too.

Check out Salon De Caro. They do both and I think they are reasonably priced. I plan to go there b/c that's where my hair stylist works. She also happens to be a make up artist. I think she said she's charging me 150 for my hair and 75 for make up. If my BP goes with me I think they are $50ea. If you want more info FM me.

meridian salon in commack- they have a website
i guess it is meridiansalon.com (i dont remember)

Bocu in Commack or one of the many Cactus salons in commack will do that.
I don't recommend Christopher street in commack, i went there when I was in a BP and the hair was great but the MU was horrendous!!

i have been going to Paul James for years - my mother and sister as well -

right in st. james - there average $$ there right on 25A as if you were heading to port jeff the shopping center is on the right hand side

Yes...Here is a great place salon demoda I think thats the way its spelt...they do nails also

I just went to Bocu for my friends wedding on Sunday.
I got an updo and my makeup done.

That's my friends salon so she wanted to go to her hairstylist, so me and another bm went with her.

Cindy did my hair. She is GREAT!!! IMO

They are a bit pricey though IMO.

I go to tapestry salon in centereach. They do a really good job, they can be pricey.

I just made an appointment with a salon in Smithtown called Enchante' Salon. A women at work referred me to this place. I have never been there but, they put me with a women who does most of there brides. There prices were very reasonable, and they do makeup. The best part is they are open Sunday's.
I get my hair done at T-Carltun and they are great.(there just not open on Sundays).

Bocu also does a really nice job with up-dos.
