My week long summer class has more work than 2 years of grad school

I have not done this much work in years!!!! After sitting through class for 7 hours, then I come home and work on the assignments for another 6 hours!!

And I have another class next week.!!!

I just have to remember Masters+15, eventually.

I can't believe you have that much work! Are they crazy!!?!!?

I'm doing 15 credits this summer... MA+30, here I come!!!

I am taking them with NYSUT. From my understanding, some of the other programs (CITE, TEI) dont have that much work.

My DH had the same experience. Poor thing had so much work for school and his job. Just stay strong and keep reminding yourself the outcome is worth it!!!!

I can relate!!! I took 2 classes this summer through NYSUT and I thought I was going to die!
I even contemplated signing up for a third class and after class two I realized there is NO WAY I'm putting myself through another!

I took 'Keys to Motivation' and 'Critical Thinking' - if I took a third it was going to be 'Multiple Intelligences' which I am really interested in, but I just can't bear anymore WORK during the summer!

FYI...... I have taken NYSUT and TEI and i will never take NYSUT again....too much work. TEI are the best classes they are easy with barely any work!

Luckily I have the same instructor next week and she gave me a heads up on some of the assignments. Tonight I read some of the journal articles and outlined them. This class seems like its going to be more interesting.

i took a few also to get to Masters +15. Some teacher are better than others. fm me if you want to know the scoop on some of them. I know its a lot of work but it is worth it.. what class are you taking???

Im just complaining because its summer. All in all, when you think about it, yes i worked for several hours this week on the computer, but I got 3 graduate credits.

Ive heard from several people that NYSUT is much more difficult than TEI. Ill take some TEI courses next summer.

I am also taking summer classes for a masters

WHO ever decided that a short-a$$ summer class should have the SAME amount of work as a 6 MONTH normal class??????????????????????????????????????????????????
