for those ladies that had m/u trials for their epics and anyone else that has an opinion

did you tell them to tone it down a bit or did you get a trial as you would for the wedding. I don't want to go crazy for the epics, but I am not sure what to do.

thanks a bunch!

and sorry for all of the epics issues- in case you couldn't tell, I've never done this before!

Re: for those ladies that had m/u trials for their epics and anyone else that has an opinion

I went to a wedding the night I had my mu trial. She did my makeup almost exactly the way she would have for hte wedding, except I had lighter blush. My make up looked so natural in the pictures! Oksana told me that the makeup looks different in pictures.

Re: for those ladies that had m/u trials for their epics and anyone else that has an opinion

It was a little of both, a trial for the wedding day and makeup for the e-shoot.

Jill did a great job translating what I was looking for. She was able to make it natural but a notch above what I wear normally. It went perfectly with what I was wearing the day of the e-shoot as well as a nice look for the wedding. I may change it up a bit for th wedding, but she did a really good job. And I am VERY picky when it comes to makeup!

Since you're having your e-pics done i wouldn't have it done as dramatic as it would be for the big day. Let her tone it down a little. You'll know if you like her work regardless of the tone. Just make sure she knows how you want it the day of.

Definitely need to get it as if it's the wedding date...you need to have the extra coverage for it to come out in the epics.

When we took our EPics the photographer suggested putting extra MU on.

Re: for those ladies that had m/u trials for their epics and anyone else that has an opinion

I asked her to keep it natural looking (I normally don't wear a lot of make up), but I let her know that I was having the e shoot that day so that she could adjust it for that. On the day of, the make up will be a little more 'dramatic'

I told her to keep it natural and I didn't add the fake eyelashes. She also used rose tones b/c I was wearing a blue shirt.
