More church questions
There is a wedding ceremony at my church at 3:30 and then my mass starts at 5:00. There is nothing I can do to change it, and they assured me they do this all the time. but how will they get the last wedding party to leave before mine starts?

Re: More church questions
If the 3:30 is only having a ceremony they will probably be out of the church in 30 - 45 minutes...add on another 30 - 45 for pictures and you end up at 5:00 pm the latest so it should be okay. In the meanwhile your florist can start setting up at 4:15 - 4:30 without a problem I am sure.

Re: More church questions
My church scheduled 2:00 pm ceremony on Sunday and our Mass was at 3:30. I was there a little before 3:30 and I didn't see ANYONE from the previous wedding at the church. Don't worry - ceremonies don't last that long. Also, there was a sacristan there the day of, so he/she may push them along if they are lingering.

Re: More church questions
If they do it all the time then I am sure they have it down....I was feeling the same way about my hall--a CH ended at 6:30 and ours started at 7---it was completely fine...florist and DJ had 15 min to set up but they got it done!

Re: More church questions
When they do this , the wedding before yours is told that they MUST be out by 4:30 or else . . . they will just kick them out if they are going too late.

Re: More church questions
Our church told us at an orientation for all upcoming couples that they do not permit you to go back into the church afterward to take pictures and that's how they avoid it. Don't know if that makes you feel any better. Yours may have a similar policyWelcome New Vendors
