Color theme question
I just realized that Im basically doing all my wedding stuff in ivory, pink and mauve... BUT.... my pew bows are white tulle with ivory, pink and mauve flowers and my unity candle is white. At the reception, I am going to have ivory table cloths with the whole mauve, pink and ivory color scheme going on. Do you think it will look dumb because I am using white tulle and unity candle for the ceremony and then everything else is ivory??
eta.. I really dont wanna use ivory tulle during the ceremony, well I actually never thought of it. Should I?

Re: Color theme question
You can drive yourself really crazy over-thinking this. I am doing ivory and gold and ordered ivory tulle for the church pews. I was also concerned that my unity candle is white and the FG's baskets are going to be white. I was considering picking up the baskets from the florist and spray-painting them before hand until I realized how nutty I was becoming. But in all honesty, nobody will even notice. Your color scheme sounds fabulous

Re: Color theme question
It will look fine... My whole theme is ivory and gold, but there will be some white decorations at the ceremony.... Even my BO-K, which is primary ivory with greens, will have some white flowers thrown in, which looked beautiful in the sample pictures. It will look great! I was worried as well because I am neurotic color coordination woman, but it works out.

No... I think white can fit into any wedding color theme.

Re: Color theme question
Honestly, you'll drive yourself insane. I don't think it's going to make the slightest difference. People are going to be so dazzled by how beautiful everything is (especially the BRIDE) that they won't even notice that the pew bows aren't ivory!

Don't over analyze girl! I know it's that time, but stop it!
If you see my church pictures on my review (posted on the Review Board) I used white tulle for the pews with rose petals and blue hydrangea. I obssessed over this...and you know what, it looked lovely but I didn't see it until AFTER the wedding when I saw the pictures that Jill took. Why? Because I was focused on my DH on my walk down the aisle and didn't notice anything...not even the aisle runner I went nuts over.
So stop thinking...or rather self-doubting...it will all be beautiful!
