a SECOND times a charm?!?!?!?!

let the craziness begin! again!

so i watched the Britney and KEvin wedding episode tonight and it made me soooooooo upset. Like, REALLY upset. It was honestly beautiful. perfect. i was crying to my kevin when it was over because i told him i felt so jipped.
our vegas wedding was over in 5 minutes. we had NO family or friends there and no documentaion of it except from 12 cheesy pics fomr the chapel.

i still feel a void and feel incomplete.
So kevin agreed to another wedding! or a renewal of vows if you will.....

i want to do it at someone house, in hteir backyard, or just on hte beach.
most inportnatly i want family there. i want it small and intimate.
i want a pretty nice dress this time. I want to truly feel like a bride and have tons of pictures of us as well as a video.

so., we are shotting for next spring. this is going to be hectic (or should i say 'chaotic' )

we are broke as a joke, but the only MAIN expenses will be a new attire (and this time doggy attire too!!!!!!!), and hiring a person to perform it and the tons and tons of flowers that i will be wanting.

i am praying we can pull this off.
im excited though. its back to the bridal books though i guess.

OMG!! we watched that too! and you can TOTALLY pull it off! I am soo happy for you that the two of you get to do this! You are going to love putting that dress on and all the attention you'll get. This is wonderful!

You know, there are soooo many options to go for a less expensive route...i truley wish i did for some..but its too late OH WELL.

Well make sure you keep us all updated and let us know help as mucha s you need!!

I am sorry that you feel gipped but glad that you are going to do something about it. As for outdoor places, the only places I know are connected to halls but good luck and keep us posted

Jess, dont feel gipped, I loved your vegas wedding (and your dress for that matter!)! I'm sure there are ways you can do something here though and keep it small and intimate.

That is soooo awesome that you guys are having a renewal ceremony.

There are so many places you can have it on LI/NYC. How 'bout the botanical gardens??

Also, I know a great officiant that is soooo fantastic if you need one.

You shouldnt feel gypped - some of us gals are jealous of your wedding trust me! (or at least I am..... )But you cant help the way you feel of course.

I cant help you with any venues but good luck - I am sure its going to be beautiful!!!!!

That sounds really cool, it will be really nice to renew with all of your friends/families there. Plus your doggies can be involved! I wish my pup could be part of our wedding...

that is so sweet...

we were gonna do a destination wedding (which we really should of done) but we cancel that and had it local so family/friends could be there (and not pay to fly to jamaica)

how about a hamptons beach house... spring wong be as expensive and im sure there are many houses open to make some cash in the spring (hopefully they wont be living there)

DW brother did a backyard wedding and it was a blast cuase it wasnt so formal and the carter,dj, bartender they hired did as good of a job a carter would do in a hall

Do you have any family members with a big enough backyard they can let you use?

And for the record, I loved your dress and the pictures you posted from your Vegas wedding. I understand renewing your vows so your family can be in attendance. If I can think of any outdoor venues - I will let you know!

I think it sounds great! I love the idea of tons of candles! Beautiful! Maybe you could hang up some small white twinkle lights on the trees or something :) Congrats!
