Where to do the engagement shoot

We get an engagement shoot with our photo package with one 8x10 included. We probably won't buy any other pics.

I love the beach and would love to do the photo shoot there--but it's an extra $150. Or we can do it in the studio for free.

Is it worth it to do it at the beach?? I'm torn! Please help!!!

Id say go for the outdoor pics. I think you'll get alot more options and great backgrounds than you would in a studio. It would be worth the $150 IMO in terms of how your pics would come out. But Im also confused about why you'd have to pay to take them outside?!

I did outside pics on the beach, but there was no extra charge. Are you really going to use your engagements pics? Mine are sitting in an envelope collecting dust. The only thing I considered doing with them is, to put them up at the reception.
I would go for the extra $150, only if you are going to use the pics or give them out.

I'm not getting charged extra for an on-location shoot either, but even if I was, I think I would pay it so I can have professional casual pics of us.

I would ask about that charge though, seems so strange to me.

i just remember him saying a location shoot would be extra. didn't really think to question it.

can anyone post pics from an in-house shoot? i want to see what the backdrop would look like
