Moon Palace in Cancun...Ever been?

I am considering Mexico for our honeymoon in April. I have a lot of friends who have been and said its great, but I am more concerned about spending 8 or 9 days there for a honeymoon. Is there enough to do?

Any suggestions for maybe splitting it up, and going somewhere else for the last 5 days?

they are specific to country and resort. there is a lot of helpful info posted.

My parents just went to the Moon Palace (sunrise) for the third time, and we will be going there for our honeymoon in November. They LOVE it - they never want to come home.
