advice on Color of BM dresses

what do you guys think of the color Royal Blue

I don't think I've seen a lot of royal blues but I have seen a lot of sapphire blue (my sister choose this color for her BMs and she got married in September too). I think blue is a nice color overall, it flatters many skin tones. Do you have a pic of something you are considering?

I was a FG for my aunt/uncle's June wedding and me and the MOH wore royal blue. The BMs wore a lighter blue. It was a nice color, the dress wasn't but it was the 80s afterall!

I am definitetaly not crazy about royal blue, and not too many dresses are available in that color anyway, but I do agree with sapphire, that is a very complimentary color. Overall though, you need to go with what YOU love, and if royal blue is it, than go for it!!

I think I am doing a similar color and I am getting married the day after you....I think the color is really nice and elegant.

Davids Bridal has a lot of dresses in that color

Personally, I'm not a huge fan. I'm getting married in Sept. and I'm leaning toward navy blue or midnight blue.

Do you have a picture of what you're thinking about? Maybe I'm thinking of something else.

ETA: BTW, Nikki - You have the cutest pooch!!!

I love blue - is saphire close to an aquamarine?

When I visited Fox Hollow I saw a bp in royal blue - it was gorgeous. The color was beautiful on all of the girls. What color flowers would you use?
