It's My Turn to Say Good-Bye...
Now that my wedding countdown is down to TWO days, I think I should say good-bye. We'll be pretty busy today and tomorrow.So many of you have been a tremendous support to me during this time. I've shared before that my family is pretty disinterested and uninvolved, and there were times when I felt as if I had chattered enough about the wedding with my friends. So it has been great to share, ask questions, and vent with you guys over the past six months (I can't believe we pulled this together in six months)!
I'm excited and nervous of course, but mostly, I just feel fortunate to have met FH, and I know he feels the same. I'm an older bride (37), and before I met him, I had been through many, many dates and a few relationships that went nowhere or worse, ended very badly, and decided no way would I settle in a relationship again just to be with someone. So it was looking as if it would take me a very long time to find the right guy. So the saying was true for me, 'when you least expect it...'. When I met him, I didn't think I would be getting married a few years later.
Best wishes to all of you 05s who still have weddings coming up, and to those of you already married, I wish you all the best in your marriages. And thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your wisdom, advice, and support again!
