OK, so this is my dress....

Do you think FH should wear an IVORY Shirt?

as of now, He is wearing an IVORY shirt, with an Ivory Vest. (BORING! )

The GM are wearing White Shirts, with Grey vests...

1- do you think it will look stupid that FH is in IVORY and the GM's are in WHITE?

2- Should they all have on WHITE? (we didnt' want them all in IVORY, b/c of the BM dresses have Pink and White... so it might not look good)...

I'm scarred that the IVORY shirt is TOO 'yellow' and wont be just an 'off white'...

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Here is what FH is wearing... (the ivory one)

and THEN the GM's...

I forget if it's the Charcoal (darker) or Platinum (lighter grey)... but they are BOTH with ties, not BOWTIES...

Take a swatch to the Tux place! That's what I did. My dress is called pearl. I thought I was going to have to get ivory, but when I held the swatch up to it, it looked more like the white shirt which wasn't bright white anyway.

DH was in ivory and the Bm's were in white. It looks yellow when you look at it alone but REALLY you can't even tell. DH looked sooo HANDSOME in the ivory. Not boring at all. I loved it.


I posted a pic of the whole Bp but I think it is too far away to see the colors.

IMO, if he is in an ivory vest then the shirt has to be ivory, I went throught the same thing for the GM. If you put white next to ivory vest it looks like the vest is dirty.

Secondly. if most of your dress is white then i would defintely have FH in white shirt with grey or even all white viest and shirt rather than the ivory.

My dress is ivory and I have FH in a white shirt, but ivory tie and vest. The GM's also will be wearing white shirts. I could barely notice the difference in the white shirts and my ivory dress. Also in most of the formal pictures, the guys will have their tux jackets on and you can see only a small part of the shirt anyway.

First, your dress is beautiful!

You should definitely not mix the white and ivory... Everyone should pick one, don't have the GM in white and the Groom in ivory. Personally, I would do all white in this case b/c your BM have white. That way, you will just stand out a bit, which are supposed to anyway because it's your day! In my case, I'm doing everyone in ivory, but that's all because my dress is gold and ivory, and my BM are in gold......... But since you have BM in pink and white and the GM will be standing next to them more than you......pick white.... And I think your Groom should match the GM.

My dress IS Ivory (i know the pics made it look white..) but it's like an 'off white' in most places, and then a DARKER Ivory towards the top... I brought my Tiara and Shoes with me to the Tux place, and it matched the IVORY shrit...

BUT... NO goog vest colors matched the Ivory Shirts for the gusy... and the only option FH had was an Ivory Vest... In order to do the Dark Grey for the guys, it HAD to be white...

my dress is ivory and when fh went to the tux plce he guy told us that if fh wears white it will not lok good with my ivory dress he said it will make the pic look dirty..

yeah, that's what the salon told us.. and so we're going with Ivory for him...

I think it will look nice, and that we'll stand out...
