Are BM dress prices Negotiable?

We've picked the BM dress, and it's a Jim Hjelm. The store we went to, priced the dress at $230 w/$40 flat alterations.

Are the prices of BM dresses negotiable or set by the manufacturer? Would I be able to find it for cheaper somewhere else?

I don't think they are negotiable but did you try Lynbrook bridal I got my dresses there the cheapest & the price of alterations cap at $50. Did you also try any websites or RK bridal

Very pretty dress though!!

It depends on the salon. Macy's bridal offered me 10% off each dress b/c I had 6 bridesmaids...
Try commack wedding center. If you know the style number they will give you a quote over the phone ( they are not negotiable)

Just put in a price quote online w/netbride. i was really really really trying hard not to have to go to long island, but if the price is right - we'll haul bootie there.

why do you have to go to li? Cant you do everything online and by mail?

The girls have to get measured don't they? Also, it doesn't help that three of the five BM's refuse to do anything online b/c they don't trust it.

They can get measured anywhere though. My BM from Florida just got measured and called them in.

I also did the same thing for her when I was in her Florida wedding.

Check Phyllis at gownfind.com

She can probably get the dresses for the same price or lower then netbride and can be measured at her store in Northport. I used her for my dress and BM dresses. We saved hundreds.

macys in smithaven negotied with me- they went down $15. per bridesmaid....

Thanks for the suggestion, but Stony Brook is so far! I'm from brooklyn, and used to go to SBU - and Smithave (however much I love that mall) is just too far for us to travel...
