Argh, crystals missing from veil

Grr, I'm so annoyed.

I just brought my veil in to get steamed at the dry cleaners this morning. I waited until today because I didn't want it to get wrinkled before the wedding. I'm getting married this saturday, 1 day away!

When I took the veil out of the bag at the cleaners (which I haven't touched since I picked it up from the store) we found about a 1 inch area where the crystals going around the bottom of the veil are missing!!

I didn't notice it when I picked it up but can't see how it would have happened just sitting in the bag.

Any suggestions on how I can fix it or at least somehow stop it from getting any worse??

Can you take it to the shop you bought it from? Can you get crystals (fake) that look somewhat like them, and add a few more?

I got it from David's Bridals over 3 months ago, and I know they say that 'all sales are final'

I can probably fix it, but I don't want to mess with it. I'll probably try to just knot off the string where they were falling from to stop it from happening any further, I just don't know the best way to do it.

I wish I had noticed it sooner. I'm getting married in less then 2 days and barely have the time for anything with all the last minute stuff to get done, this is just another thing on my list now.

Did you try posting on the Vendors Helping Brides board to see if one of them can help you out and give some advice?
