West Sayville Country Club

Has anybody looked at this place? Is it worth looking at?

Re: West Sayville Country Club

I think it depends on what you are looking for. It is a good site for a smaller wedding (if you go too large it would be cramped). The banquet manager is super accommodating, the view is great and I've heard good things about the food.

I made a day of my visit and also visited Timberpoint, Land's End, Snapper Inn - all in the area (as well as I believe the Vanderbuilt museum and some others)

Good luck

I looked at the place. It is a bit small and the dance floor is in a seperate room, but the room has an incredible view. The place is very nice , it kind of has a victorian look to it. If you want something bigger look at timperpoint same feeling but bigger. It is also owned but the same company. The BM are very nice and will give you a great price

Re: West Sayville Country Club

I am having my reception there for a wedding for about 160 people. The max that it holds is 200, so if you have too many people, it would be cramped. The dance floor is in a glass room at the end of the dining room but we liked that because although you can hear the music everywhere in the room, but it isn't too loud. I say go see it and see if you like it. we saw it and fell in love, but it is different from most catering halls, so it depends on what you are looking for. It is a Lessing's place and the website shows you panaromic views of the place and sample menu so you can get an idea. FM me if you want more info and good luck in your planning!!!
