Re: Where to stay in Suffolk county on the wedding night?

The Hyatt Regency in Hauppauge is under renovations now and they are adding new suites. So far the new regular guest rooms look awesome, so I can't imagine what the new suites will look like....

Re: Where to stay in Suffolk county on the wedding night?

You can look into the following:

Oheka Castle (actually cheaper than I expected it to be!! - starts at $195)

Radisson at Macarthur
Marriott Islandia
Sheraton Hauppauge (this is where I booked)
Courtyard by Marriott Macarthur
Hilton Garden Inn Islip
Three Village Inn - Stony Brook
Danfords On the Sound

We stayed at the Sheraton Long Island (Motor Parkway) and we were extremely disappointed.

Here's a link to my review:

Re: Where to stay in Suffolk county on the wedding night?

Augh! That's the one I reserved!!!

Now I gotta change it because FH and I were just talking about blocking rooms for his family.... off to find another hotel since Oheka Castle is available the night of my wedding but not the night before.....
