24 plain bubbles for $3.98 at theknot.com
That's the cheapest I've seen so far.

Bubbles on Sale!

Usually Party City has a sale on them. I think I got them for around $3.49(?) and the tulle was on sale too. Check the fliers or stop in every now and again. It had to be around March or May when I got them.

Bubbles on Sale!

My mom bought those from theknot.com and we could not open them!! arghhhhhh...she called them and told them the problem. She returned them. Apparently they have had a manufacturer problem so I would be careful if you order them. It maybe the old stock they are trying to get rid of.

You can buy ribbons and little bells to decorate the bubbles with. My mom bought both and decorated one of the bottles (before she returned the bad ones) and they look so cute!!

I bought the tulle circles and stuck the bubbles in the middle and tied it with a ribbon. The cap was nesled w/i the tulle, but you can still open it. When I knotted the ribbon I put one of the flowers w/i the not. You know the ones that they sell for like 88 cents for 12 and they twisted together to look like a cluster. Then again I had two years before I needed them done, but I got them done w/i 2 weeks. I put all 96 in a huge basket adorned with tulle and some fake flowers that I had taken off the shower gifts, otherwise I probably wouldn't have bothered. You technically don't have to decorate bubbles. Some people give the bottles as is. Or maybe you can write your names on the bubbles, or have a ribbon with your names printed and just tie them on.

Bubbles on Sale!

Anyone know where i can get the bubbles shaped like hearts? -Stacey

Diane,

This is by no means meant to offend you, this is just my opinion. We are staying away from the garter thing completely. We just don't agree with it, and I just don't want to put any guests in an awkward situation. They may know each other, but that doesn't mean they'd feel comfortable going through the process. Granted, some people are more open and playful, but some people may feel forced to go along for the sake of the newlyweds and the party.

Was wondering how everyone presented the bubbles at church. Do you wrap them in tulle and then place in a basket. Martha Stewart I'm not :0

We haven't really started looking yet, we are getting married 9/14. I booked through American Express two years ago when I went to Florence, Rome and Sorento/Positano. They had great hotels. We will probably start with them and do some web searching.

Its like a wholesale liquidators , so I think the stuff they have is hit or miss. I was not there , my FMIL went , but it's worth a shot !

I really like the beginning to Sweet Emotion too!! Eventhough at this point we're looking to songs from the Blues Brothers, that is an alternative just in case we change our minds.

Michelle: I had bubbles and everyone loved them. I bought those little wedding cakes. - WARNING - the dove topped bubbles are extremely hard to open. The cake seemed to be the easiest. I just bought little thin ribbon in the color of my girls dresses and printed little tiny cards that said 'Blow Bubbles of wishes for the new Mr. & Mrs'. and then you can put your names. I did the writing/printing in the same navy. It's a little less expensive than tulle or having to unwrap them. Good luck. By the way - Fantasy Land in Patchogue has them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bubbles Presentation

I would love to use bubbles after my ceremony however,I'm getting married inside the atrium at the Milleridge Cottage. I doubt they'll let us use bubbles inside, and I'm not sure we'd have the opportunity to use them outside. Does anyone have any suggestion on this?

I never said Stefanie was real. I was refering to the entire thread from Glory on down. The only thing posted above my response was a question on his package prices. Glory was the one who recommended Mark, and I know that she has been here and has been recommending his studio for quite some time. Whether or not Stefanie is real doesn't matter. The question is legit and I know from having been here long enough that he doesn't hide behind fake names.

Get them quik!

My mother and father picked up 7 boxes of bubbles at Mace's/Levittown today- the caps opened and they weren't substandard...but hurry up! There were only 6 boxes left in the store. and check each box, some were short a few bottles.

Sorry about that! It's not a very extensive page, but it's got the contact info.

The thing I really liked about their work was how they focus on the people, and didn't rely on having some Martha-Stewart stage set to get great pictures.
