Updated - My Sister's Shower is Today!

Let's see...
40 women in my mother's living room; 94 degrees outside; it should be a BLAST!!

Made 2 trays of stuffed mushrooms last night; getting ready to make the Swedish meatballs, got the chocolate for the chocolate fountain, picked up the rented chairs, wrapped the presents and bought the wine and it's not even 9 AM!!

Whew!!!!!!!

Update and Review -My Sister's Shower is Today!

Hello ladies - here's a little review of my sister's shower:

Decorations: Mom did a beautiful job! My sister and her FH are eloping to Nassau Island. Mom decorated her living room and dining room with a tropical theme. She made the wishing well look like a ship!
Food: Way too much food! My sister's and I went all out. The main drink of course - pina coladas with little paper umbrellas in the glass.

My sister thought she was coming to my shower, so when she walked in she was totally surprised! She is the queen of the last minute details and she walked in my mother's house with my gift in hand - unwrapped!! She had just come from the stationery store and had the card and gift wrap in the bag and was going to do it there. When she saw me in the crowd of 'surprise' yellers, she screamed and ran into the bedroom so I wouldn't see the gift. She's too funny.

All in all, the day went well. Sis was happy. I brought my camera but was so busy in the kitchen that I never even took it out of it's case.
