How long to you have children?

I was just curious if any of you have had the discussion about children with your FH and how long after you married you will be having them? I have an itch right now cause Im at the age where it seams everyone around me is prego or getting prego! So as of Today I would love to get prego right away, but Im sure that will change.. how about you all?

I'll only be 25 and the FH will be 30 when we get married, so we're waiting a few years (probably 2-3) before doing so. I'm at the peak of my career right now (Finance) and do not want to jeopardize it.

at least 4-5 years we want to enjoy each other and also first to see if we can take care of puppies before we attempt kids. LOL

Waiting OVER 3 years FH will just have moved in together and really want time to be together and travel. I'll be 25 when I get married and plan to start 'thinking' about kids around 29/30.

we will most likely be preg by the time we are married 2 years...We want to enjoy those years together plus we just bought a new house, so finances are going to be tight! We have an agreeance to have at least one by the time I am 30!

I wanted to right away since I am getting older. FH wants to wait. We will see. If it happens it happens.

We have discussed this. We want to start TTC shortly after the wedding. I will be 31 (and a half) when we get married and FH turns 28 right after the wedding, and we want 2-4 kids.

We agree we are ready, and figure it'll take a month or two (or three) to get preg, then 9 months for the baby!!

Well FH will be turning 41 soon and he reminded me that he's not getting any younger. Plus, he already has an 8 y/o daughter from his 1st marriage. So I don't want to wait too long b4 we have kids, prob just a year.

I want to wait atleast 1 year but no more than 2 or 3 since I will be 29 once I get married

i will be approaching my 31st bday by the time we are married, and i hope to give birth by the time i am 33- so i guess about 2 years tops. i am only planning on having 1.

fh and i have been together 10 years and have already traveled A LOT, and I plan on dragging my bundle of joy all over the world from a young age....then kick them out to go to college at 18 and start with my husband all over again!!!

i'd love to do it right away - but we'll probably wait a year or so (if not two). If it happens sooner - than yeah for us!

We will both be 28 when we get married and would like to have a baby when we are 30, so it will be about 2 years. We want some time to ourselves first.

I'd like to put it off as long as possible. He wants one more than I do at this point.

Well considering my age, we will probably be starting within the first year, since ideally I'd like to have two.

I'm thinking about 2 years or so after we get married...I'll be 28 when we get married and he'll be 31 so I don't want to wait too long.

I already have one darlig little boy, I am waiting at least 2-3 more years before I have another one. He is enough to handle as it is and he is not even out of diapers yet.
