Re: Where will you stay on your wedding night?
Hmmmm, in a hotel room. Not sure if it will be in the same hotel as guests though. FB&SIL made that choice for their wedding night. Poor girl, her new DH's friends kept knocking on their door until 2am!!

We booked at the Wingate. We are staying in the smaller bridal suite, and leaving for the honeymoon the next day (hopefully!)

Re: What hotel are you staying in on the night of the wedding?
i am staying at oheka :)but if i wasnt, i would have booked something in manhattan like the waldorf- my friend stayed there for her wedding night and she said that with a lil bit of negotiating, they upgraded her regular room to a suite for free.

We're staying in a suite at the Inn at East Wind. It's pretty cool, cause after the wedding we can just go right upstairs to our suite!!!

You're getting married the night after us! We are still debating over the whole EWind thing...it's so convenient, but also expensive. Our friends are partiers, and will be looking to continue the night on somewhere. The Inn makes perfect sense b/c of its local, but the rooms are expensive, and the blocking contract is very strict. Did you block rooms for guests as well?

Hey!!!! I know the East Wind may seem a little pricey but you and you FH get a room included and the rooms you block are at a 20% discount, right?? We haven't blocked rooms yet, but plan on doing it shortly!! And for those guests that want to continue the party after the wedding they can go to the bar in the Inn!! It's just soooo exciting!!!

Hey...just wanted to let you know that at Eastwind to block rooms you have to put down 50% of the deposit and you have to block a minimum of 10 rooms. I looked into it and unfortunetely means putting down like $1500....
