Do You have to have a Ring Bearer and A Flower Girl?
Just wondering....My nephew who is the only boy that I would consider being my ring bearer will be 8 yrs old by the time we get married and my goddaughter would be 10.
Is there anything different I can do with them tomake them apart of the ceremony?

No, we had just a ring bearer and it was fine.

Can they hand out the programs for the ceremony? What about handing out the rice/bubbles or something?Could they ask people to sign the guestbook?

I'm simply having a fg and rb (my niece and nephew) but you can have them as bell ringers. I think that is what they are called. They walk down the aisle before you and ring a bell. I haven't seen it done, but is sounds cute.

No. We decided to keep it simple.Although my FH's sister has a 6 month old baby boy that's wearing a cute white little tux and maybe he can hold a small ring pillow with our rings.

Re: Do You have to have a Ring Bearer and A Flower Girl?
We are not having either. FH has 4 nieces and 1 nephew and they all live out of state. My FMIL said I had to have all of them in the wedding parrty or none
Oh please, we are only having a MOH and BM... we would have also had to pick up the tab on their outfits considering both families are flying in, renting cars while they are here and it is a huge financial commitment. I'd rather spend the $$$$ elsewhere. Oh, and IMO, two of the girls were too old to be flowergirls... two are 10 and two are 8.

My little daughter insists on being 'the ring bearer' and I have no flower girl.

I'm not having any. FH has 8 nephews and 1 neice. And I know if we have them in the party we'd get stuck paying and we don't have the money to.

Technically I am not having either. My toddler daughter will be somewhat of a flower girl. FH says 'aww it would be cute if she goes by herself.' Hello she is going to be 16 months..she'll be jumping on everyone's laps

You know you can still use them as a ring bearer and flower girl. But if you feel they are too old you could have your newph as a jr. grooms men and your goddaughter as a jr. bm.

Re: Do You have to have a Ring Bearer and A Flower Girl?
I just had a ring bearer-my nephew who walked down with his mommy-one of my bridesmaids, so that was different, but as long as he walked down I was happy.Welcome New Vendors
