Repost from LIF: Please pray for my father. UPDATED: He's having the transplant!!!

My father, who has been on dialysis since after my wedding last year, just got a call from Mt. Sinai saying that they may have a kidney for him! It's between him and one other person. The woman wasn't sure who was first on the donor list. My parents are waiting to hear back, and will then go into the city. If he is the recipient, he will have a kidney transplant tomorrow morning.

Please pray that my father gets this kidney. Thank you!!

OMG Jackie. i'll be praying for him!!!!!!!

My mom actually had a Kidney transplant (last week it was her 4 year 'anniversary'). It was a similar situation- they called, told me they had a kidney for her, and she had to go that night for pre-op testing, and had the transplant the next morning! If you have any questions/ concerns... ANYTHING.. please FM me.

My mom JUST called - my dad is having the transplant!!! Please continue to keep him in your prayers for a successful surgery and speedy recovery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
