Past and Future Feb Brides

When are you sending out your invites or when did you.

I can't figure out if I should send before Christmas or after.

What would you do.

i was going to send save the dates during the summer but church issues have put that on hold- we are sending ours out early - i've been told we're suppose to send them about 3 months prior to the wedding but i'm a worry wart and want them out atleast four to give prep time and b/c we have a b-list.

So ours are going out before christmas, but do you think it would be cute to have the invites as a christmas card?

If I remember correctly we sent our out right after Thanksgiving. We had also sent Save the Dates which went out in August since it was President's day when we got married.

We sent STD's in July and the invitations a little early only b/c I didnt want to send them during the holidays so I sent them out right after Thanks giving I think

Wedding is Feb 19. Sending out STDs mid July. Invites early to mid December.

I do think the Christmas card idea is cute, but I would be afraid that it would get lost with the other cards.

We got married February 7th and sent out our invites December 1st. I see your wedding is Feb. 17th. I would make a decision and either send them out by December 1st, so they don't get mixed in with Christmas cards, or I would wait til December 26th, right after Christmas. Any time in between is crazy with all the extra mail traffic and my fear would be they would be damaged or lost because of all the extra craziness around the holidays. If I were you, I would send them out by the first. Since it is the holidays people will be busy and crazy and this way they will have plenty of time to get them back.

we got married 2/19

Sent the STD around March since we had lots of people from out of town

Sent the invites out late 1st week -early 2nd week in dec
our rsvp date was jan 19th
