I am getting married at my hall. People from work want to come just for the ceremony. Do they normally allow that if the reception is immediately following?

the hall doesn't collect tickets, right? Anyone can show up the day of .. the hall would probably charge you if there are any extra dinners ordered. You should be fine.

I don't think the reception halls care who shows up to the ceremony. You're paying the same if you have 20 guests or 200. I would tell them ahead of time though, so they can arrange for enough seating for all your guests.

Youre right. I will have to tell them because the chairs need to be set up outside.

Yeah, but you may not even need to. I've found that unfortunately even if you have the ceremony and reception at the same place, not everyone comes to the ceremony
