How much time should I allow for dress shopping?

-at each salon? Is 2 hours enough time? I'm trying to make the most of a weekend when my sister will be here to go with me - just don't want to over-book!

TIA!

Re: How much time should I allow for dress shopping?

1 1/2 to 2 hours depending on how busy the salon is...Sometimes on the weekends, if they are busy, you will not be taking at your appointment time...so consider that!

No - she's just following me around to ridicule and make fun of me! I'm letting the girls pick their own dresses, so she doesn't need trials just yet. This one's all about me!

Re: How much time should I allow for dress shopping?

2 hours should be more than enough, even if it's busy a good salon will have you in and out in that time! Don't let yourself be overwhelmed!!

Re: How much time should I allow for dress shopping?

I just went last week, and two hours was plenty of time in each salon. That is what I planned for, and we even had time for my MOH to try on dresses as well.

Re: How much time should I allow for dress shopping?

Thanks girls! Looks like I'll plan for 2 hours at most - and leave a little time left over to relax and enjoy the time!

I'll let you know how it goes!

Re: How much time should I allow for dress shopping?

2 hours is cutting it close. don't go to more than 3 salons in one day. it gets to be a headache and blurry.
