Feb 2006 Brides
When do you ladies plan on sending out your invitiations?I was thinking the 3rd week of December. Do you think that's too early? I was concerned about the mail then because of Christmas. Then January is too late for me.
Anyone have any thoughts?
THANKS!!!

I wasn't going to send STD's. Mainly because my list is way too big as it is.
We should definitely FM to keep on track.
You don't think November is too early?
I'm afraid people would forget. Is that psycho or what/???

Re: Feb 2006 Brides
we are date triplets!!!...I was actually thinking about sending them out on the Monday right after Christmas...I'm also not going to send out Save the Dates because I am inviting way too many people....I'm going to give the people until about Jan. 20th to respond, which in my opinion is plenty of time....if anything it gives me a week lee way so that if anyone sends it late its not the end of the world

Re: Feb 2006 Brides
I am sending mine out towards the end of November. For my many date twins!!!!(quintuplets?):
I will be sending out my STD's soon for one reason. I am a teacher and many friends of mine are teachers and many of our guests have familes with children in grade school. Feb 18th starts the intersession (February winter break) from school and people (including teachers) often go away. As it stands right now, there are at least 4 people we know who have waited for us to pick our date so they can fly out on vacation the next day.
Another thing for winter brides to consider. The USPS has proposed a postage increase. I think it is supposed to happen after the first of the year. So when you mail out your invites, the outside postage should be at the rate is is now, but the stamps for your response cards should reflect the increase. From what I understand, the rate will go up to 39 cents after January1, 2006 (though I may be wrong). I think most wedding invites cost about 60 cents to mail out.
