We saw tons of bands before selecting the Ken James Orchestra. We knew that they are the band for us the minute we saw them. I've heard great things from past brides too!

I would definitely recommend going to listen to bands at their live showcases to really get a good idea of what they sound like. I'm using Heart and Soul along with a few other brides on here.. You can listen to them on the Franklin Wayne Website here is the link

We are using Times Square Orchestra! They are an 8 piece band (6 band members also sing). They played at my brother's wedding too. I sent my friend to their showcase and she booked them on the spot. I think the next showcase is in two weeks. FM me if you want $ details.

We are using NYC Swing....we are having 13 peices....however they go out as 12 or more. We are also having a trio for ceremony and a jazz trio for cocktail. Feel free to FM for pricing.

We had Niteflight. 9pcs..so much talent and as you say, the dance floor was packed. Some other LIW brides are using them too. They are very reasonable and you can hear them on their website. Niteflight

If you can get Times Squre Orchestra - DO IT!!! IT was the best decision of our wedding. They were awesome and nearly a month later people are still talking about how fun the party was. Do it if you can, and fm for prices if you need! Good luck!

We also booked renegade & they cost around $6500. They came recommended to us by another couple & my FI is really into music & they are great!!!

We are using Arcadia from LI Paramount. Renegade is their other band - they were booked for our date - but Arcadia was amazing as well.

We are using Soul Revival Entertainment. We saw them at my cousins' wedding last summer, then recommended them to my best friend who got married 3 weeks ago, and I just booked them for my wedding in June '06 They are so amazing and these two weddings were the most fun weddings I've been to. They had the best song list of any band we heard, and they are all young, late 20's to 30's and just really rocked. Also, they do special requests, and will play any song you want. My cousin had some specific R&b tunes she wanted to hear, and they learned all of them. There website is www.soulrevivalband.com or you can call and ask for Justin at (631) 220-1652. Good luck.

We've got Code Bleu booked (skyline orchestras) and have heard rave reviews of them as well.
Have been to see them at a few showcases and they were great each time.
