Save the date stickers a good idea?

I really like the stickers from Savethedatestickers.com, the ones that people can stick on their calendars. Thing is, I am sending them out sometime over the next month because we need to give people hotel info and my wedding is next year -- people won't have their 2006 calenders yet? Will they throw them out?
