Gown shopping tomorrow!

Tomorrow (Friday) I am going to Bridal Reflections in Carle Place to start my quest! I was going to try other salons in Manhasset and Roslyn but when I called back to ask what price they started at, I had to cancel. Anyway, I am a bit nervous yet thrilled at the same time. I hope I don't puke like I did wen FH proposed.

Awwww.....you'll have a great time. I'm actually going into Manhatten on Saturday with my Mom and FMIL. I'm just as nervous...but I just keep thinking we are going to have such a good time. I'm so excited.....good luck in your search and most of all have fun with it!!

I think Bridal Reflections in Carle Place is having an Ines Di Santo trunk show - she has beautiful gowns!

I went to Bridal Reflections in Carle Place, and I love them! I was so nervous to go at first, cause I heard so many things about them.. that they only deal with you if you can spend X amount of money... but I went in anyway.. gave them the MOST i would spend, and I came out with the most gorgeous dress ever! Highly recommend them! I know some people don't like that you don't get to look through the gowns.. but I found it easier for me this way. I told her what I liked, loved and HATED.. and she hit the nail on the head!

OMG that sounds like something Mom would say. Though I am going in with a very open mind. I am going to be reducing my options easily as I have a BLACK tattoo in between my shoulder blades that is a little high up. So I will ask the consultant to either bring me dresses that are ALREADY made with a high neck in the back or that can be MADE that way.

Good luck and have fun today!! I think it's ok to leave your make-up on, they're just samples. When I tried dresses on I saw plenty that had residue of foundation from going over girl's heads. Just relax and have fun with it!!!
