Invitations to Co-workers (looking for advice especially from teachers!)
I am a high school teacher and am inviting my whole department to my wedding (can't pick and choose!) (18 people BTW).Now, I feel dumb asking them (especially my chair) for their addresses.
What did other people do? Is it TOTALLY tacky to place the invites (or even mail them) to their school mailboxes?
Or should I just ask and feel dumb?
TIA!!

Isn't there a address directory book that the school has for like snow emergencies etc.?Or
You can ask a secretary that you know right?

Is there someone in administration that will be willing to help you out? I'm sure all of their addresses are on file.

I asked a secretary to get me the addresses. Even the principal's secretary should be able to help you with this.

I invited my department too. I just emailed them all and send i needed their addresses. i dont know if that was tacky or not, but i dont know how else i would have gotten them all! people didnt seem to be offended or anything. i think it's nicer to get it in the mail. it's gives off a little too much of a casual vibe if you stick them in their mailbox. make them feel just as important as your other guests and spring for the postage

My district gives out a staff directory each year, so that is how I got mine. Could you ask a secretary in the office?

My DH is a high school teacher and just asked everyone for their addresses. They know what you need them for and it is better to mail them.

I would definitely ask them for their addresses via email or speak to your school secretary. I wouldn't put them in their school mailboxes. Good luck!Welcome New Vendors
