I just went to check my Macy's registry at WeddingChannel.com and it isn't there anymore! Eek! I was wondering if everyone elses was still up, and I should be worried -- or if they had some sort of server crash, so lots of peoples are missing, and I should not worry. Let me know! Thanks.

When you click 'bridal registry' on Macys.com it brings you to the Wedding Channel. :-( So, it's not there either!!!

Did you check it through Macys.com? There may be a problem with the wedding channel's website.

I HAD PROBLEMS WITH IT. THERE IS A NUMBER TO CALL. THEY FIXED EVERYTHING FOR ME. JUST CALL AND THEY WILL HELP YOU.

I agree with Kate! If that dress is 'THE' dress for you, the one that you know in your heart is the one you want, then by all means get it! The odds of any guest noticing is actually small - they will just notice you looking gorgeous. And if anyone does in fact notice, you can fill them in -- that you showed your dress to the MOH and she agreed it was the most beautiful dress in the world, and couldn't resist buying it too!

ARGH! I called them last night and they basically said, oh yeah its not up. Hmm... well we may be able to pull it out of storage. Take a look in three days and maybe it will be up again. Otherwise call again.

I think the problem is with Wedding Channel, not with Macy's. When I had spoken to Macy's early on, they said that the web site was all handled by Wedding Channel and they gave me their customer service number.

They've been having problems ever since Wedding Channel merged with Della Weddings - they've been promising to have the info all together for months but their web pages are still somewhat separate. When I complained that I could only view, not change, my registry on line, their only response was that they could not find a problem, yet I get error messages every time I try to access it to make a change. I'd have to agree, that Wedding Channel has lousy service and I don't plan to promote use of their on-line services for purchasing. I'll recommend to my guests that they can view and print the list, then go anywhere convenient to buy if they prefer. I'll deal with possible duplications if I have to.

Well, my registry is finally up again, unfortunately there are now two listings for my name -- and I can't seem to log in anymore. Geez! I guess I'll have to call again.
